Good Atlantic cod is hard to find consistently in Malaysia. Prices jump, quality varies, and much of what is sold as “cod” has a long, opaque supply path. Norgesfoods imports Ramoen Atlantic cod direct from Norway.
What you are buying
Ramoen cod is wild-caught Norwegian Atlantic cod, filleted and frozen at sea (FAS) on modern vessels, then moved under deep-freeze and air-flown. Freezing at sea preserves the fish at peak condition instead of waiting for a long fresh chain that Malaysia’s climate does not support well.

Steps to order
- Open www.norgesfoods.com/shop/ and add the Ramoen 1kg box, or WhatsApp +60 11-1140 5539 with how many boxes you need.
- Choose pickup at 19B Jalan Wan Kadir 2, TTDI, KL, or delivery across KL & Klang Valley (from RM10), Penang and Johor Bahru. TTDI pickup is on weekends 9am–3pm or by appointment.
- Keep the product frozen until you cook. Thaw in the fridge, not on the counter.
- Cook as loins or flakes — soups, baked dishes, fish and chips style, Asian stews.
Why FAS matters
“Fresher than fresh” is a phrase we use carefully: a fish frozen correctly at sea often eats better than a “fresh” fish that spent days warming through airports and markets. For Malaysian kitchens, FAS wild cod is the practical premium option.
We also stock Frøya sashimi salmon, Hofseth trout, King Mikal smoked salmon, saba mackerel, Mama Nuanta crab, and Snillbie honey on the same shop if you want to combine an order.
