FACT 1 – ALL prawns from Asia are either farmed, or caught in relatively polluted shallow tropical waters.
FACT 2 – Laws governing use of animal feeds and antibiotics by farmers are sometimes overlooked. As a result, farmers feed their animals and fish stocks with uncontrolled substances which in turn may cause contamination to our food supply.

Caught from a depth of 800-1300m in the cleanest and freezing cold waters near the Arctic. Slow growing prawns means exceptional sweetness and texture. No preservatives such as bisulphites. No antibiotics. Full documentation including Certificate of Origin and Sanitary Certificate from the Norwegian government can be provided.
The prawns are cooked, packed and frozen onboard the fishing boat and handled with utmost care all the way until delivery to Malaysia, with complete oversight of the logistics and cold chain by Norgesfoods.

Meal preparation
The prawns are already cooked, so there is no need to cook the prawns further. Exposing to high heat will affect the texture negatively. Defrost them in the fridge for a few hours, peel, pat dry with paper towels and you will have a ready-to-eat product!
The prawns are best eaten cold on bread or in salads or stirred into warm food such as soups, rice, or pasta after plated.
